SONY  Gulf awarded ASHRAFS the prize for excellent sales performance for the financial year 2009.  Among all  GCC, countries, ASHRAFS is the only country to receive this award as the Kingdom of Bahrain is the only country in GCC which has shown growth over 2008 compared to other markets.

It was a surprise New Year “party-bell” that rang at 1.00 pm at ASHRAFS on the 31st of December - the last day of the last year! A grant party planned by Mrs. Amal Almoayyed, Executive Director, ASHRAFS was initially kept under wraps by its organizers, until the last minute which gave a bang of surprise to all staff, when it was officially announced.
Although in small scale, a meticulous embellishment for the celebrations was made just an hour before the party commenced. The organizers were thoughtful to maintain the “suspense factor “ till the last minute, thus the day began in its normal pace.  But the ambiance was totally refreshing with New year adornments at 1.00pm when the staff were officially invited for the surprise feast. Mrs. Amal, in her speech greeted the gathering, with wishes for a prosperous, successful and eventful 2010 for ASHRAFS, staff and their family members.

You will hear a sweet voice saying “Shukran Le etsalekum bi Ashrafs – Thank you for calling Ashrafs”; followed by detailed switchboard information! For the last 17 years this voice has been heard by thousands of ears that belongs to Businessmen, CEOs, Directors, General Managers, Customers, Suppliers, Vendors….., precisely every single call made to Ashrafs would have been answered by this pleasant voice! Now, the Ashrafs management is extremely pleased, to proudly introduce the owner of this sweet voice who is Ms.Zahra Haider Hussain  -  “the smiling face” at the Ashrafs reception counter!

Ms. Zahra joined Ashrafs on 11th of  July 1993 as receptionist. A person of “clock-like punctuality” Zahra is an extremely reliable and a friendly person. With her excellent telephone manners and interpersonal skills, she has been exchanging business communications in an effective, concise and polite manner for the last one and a half decades. Her hard work and positive attitude has now been rewarded, as the Ministry of Labour has selected Zahra as the “Diligent Employee of the year 2009”. The Management of Ashrafs sincerely congratulate Zahra for her outstanding achievement..
