ASHRAFS ANNUAL STAFFPARTY 2009

Mr. Farouk Almoayyed Chairman Addresses the gathering	Keynote Address by Mrs. Amal Almoayyed Executive Director

“One world; One Family” was the mood at the Awal ballroom, Gulf hotel on 17th April 2009. As the theme denotes, it was once again that cherished day of the year for the whole Ashrafs Family to meet and greet each other with little bit of joy, little bit of celebration and lot of catching up! It was that once-a -year occasion to spend some time in leisureliness with Management and Colleagues! As recommended by the Excecutive Director Mrs. Amal Almoayyed, this time it was an all- internally organized staff party – All events and arrangements were to be done by Ashrafs staff, that made the occasion a totally “Home made one”!

The Ashrafs family got together at the Awal Ballroom around 7.00pm.  At the outset, the Executive Director Mrs. Amal Almoayyed and a team of welcome band, who were dressed up in traditional costumes, offered an imperial welcome to the Honorable chairman Mr. Farouk Almoayyed.  As the first item in the line up, Ashrafs staff performed a “candle dance” themed “Heal the world” which blends to its best with the theme of the day. The key note speech by Executive Director Mrs. Amal Almoayyed outlined the past achievements of Ashrafs and encouraged the staff to work hard further in the time of adversities.

In his address, Mr. Farouk Almoayyed had congratulated Ashrafs team for their success under the proficient leadership of Mrs. Amal. It was followed by prize-giving session, where the Management recognized outstanding performances by offering ‘Best Employee Awards”, “Special sales achievement” awards and Appreciative Awards for exceptional performances.

Followed were events that portrayed a medley of skits, dance, music and drama – An occasion for the talented staff of Ashrafs to exhibit all those talents that they have been fine-tuning for more than a month time. The dance shows displayed a symbiosis of cultures that included traditional steps from India, Arab world, Philippines that brought about a lot of participation and cheer. The celebration included a number of cheerful moments, in addition to the distribution of numerous raffle prizes drawn and dispersed during the occasion.

The dinner served at the end was followed by an extended dance session, which was extremely fascinating with pumped up DJ music, equally corresponded with dancing steps by Ashrafs family members. The countless flash lights firing up all over by viewers showed the excitement to record the events, so that they could cherish those memories for a long time to come!
