The unique exterior, featuring an intricately moulded case constructed of composite parts and a sharp, dimensional mechanical face, presents a look of sheer speed. The chronograph is also equipped with Smartphone Link connectivity and Tough Solar charging capabilities. - Carbon fiber-reinforced resin case with a design inspired by the air flow around a race car - Taking inspiration from the way air rushes by formula race cars, the case design features a complex form enabled by dimensional moulding technologies. Its combination of uniquely shaped independent buttons creates a sense of layering, while the side view incorporates slanting in its design to evoke the profile of a formula car. Carbon fiber-reinforced resin is used as the case material, delivering both strength and lightness.
- Sharp-edged, multi-layered design that creates a sporty look -The dial features a basic theme employing straight lines with dimensional design that arranges the components in multiple layers. The layout of metal parts with accent colors along their edge lines around the LCD adds a sporty look.
- Band design evoking the look of air vents - The ECB-2200P features a urethane band that offers a nice fit on the wrist and won’t impede arm motion, making it well-suited for busy pit work and more. The openings on both sides of the urethane band evoke the look of sports cars’ air vents. The ECB-2200DD and ECB-2200DC feature metal bands treated with black IP.
